These ain't any serious things. But i had some spare time and nothing more to do, so thought of writing these out!

#. USE NOTEPAD FILE AS A DIARY

If u regularly input some text in the same .txt file, having a time stamp before each writing can prove useful.
Like in a diary u can make the notepad to automatically print the timestamp (date and time of input of each text).

You can use two ways,
First... each time before writing something in the text file press F5. this will print the timestamp of the current time.

Second.... In the beginning of the text file write

.DAT

Hit enter and save it.
Now every time you open that file to write something there will be the timestamp

#. OPENING COMMAND PROMPT WHERE ITS BANNED

Like i always say notepad is a very handy thing. You can do a number of things with it.
Do u know you can open a command prompt just by the help of a notepad.

Type

command.com

and save it as dos.bat

now double clicking dos.bat will get you the prompt

#. FUN

Open a notepad file now type some 4 letter word, put a space, then a 3 letter word followed by space, again a three letter word followed by space and lastly a 5 letter word.

ex- boat got the water

save it.
Can you read what you typed by opening that file again. You Can't!!!

#. FUN GAME

Open a notepad file, and type Q33N (this was the flight no of plane that hit WTC on 9/11)
Go to the format and change the font to Wingdings also increase the font size to maximum so as to make it visible.

What have you got???
