Hiding Folders

here are two simple tricks
First... JUST MAKE THEM INVISIBLE
Right click on the folder and rename, delete the earlier name. Now press the alt key and while pressing alt type 255 from the side num pad. this will make the name of the folder invisible.
Now about the icon. right click, go to properties-->customize and then change icon. There along wid icons you'll see some blank spaces. select one of them.
Your folder is invisible now.
You'll have to remember where it is Placed.
This trick has a minor flaw.. when u'll press F5, it will blink.
Second..... Lock It
U can do this without the use of any software.
Just make a new notepad file in the same directory where the folder is. type..
ren foldername foldername.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA
save it as lock.bat Now make another notepad file. and type.. ren foldername.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA save it as unlock.bat (Here foldername is the name of folder u want to hide) when u'll execute loc.bat, it'll change ur folder into recycle bin. and double clicking the unlock.bat will return it into its normal form. same thing u can do(i.e disguising any folder to any system folder by putting the CLSID code of the system folder in the extension of the folder name.
