How E-Mail Accounts Are Hacked And How To Protect Yourself

Its a field where is many of the people are ignorant, so just thought of writing an article on How E Mail accounts are hacked and how to protect yourself from such misfortune.
Here i'll discuss some most common methods used ... However i'll limit it to almost-non-technical level, However i am preparing a rather more technical paper for "Network Security" Page which should be live soon.
SOCIAL ENGINEERING :
AAH! most commonly used method. The definition is too wide ranged.
Social engineering is getting what you want by fooling people from whom you want. Its a con act. For Example, here is an extract of a post from a forum. Somebody posted it with the name...
Follow These steps to hack the password of any user on yahoo
1. Log in your account, and go to "COMPOSE"
2. In the To: field type botrequest_pwdreset@yahoo.com
3.In The subject field type CaptchaForResetPasswd
4.Now the important part- In the message first type the ID of the person whose password you want to know in the first line in the second line type your ID followed by your password and in the third line copy this line exactly

Now send your message, It sends the message to the BOT. In this way we confuse It and it sends the password of the ID in the first line to the ID in the second line. The ID and pass in the second line is used to authenticate if the user is real person, just like word verification.
Note:- It may take upto 48 hours for the BOT to process your request.
Now, Now Now.... before you go for a try to this trick let me tell you something... DON'T DO THAT!! atleast until this article is complete.
The email address that was provided was never a BOT address. It belonged to the same person who posted that! so when you send a mail it actually goes to the attacker. All other things in that mail are just plain bullshit. It all plain drama to trick you to get your ID and password

many people don't even know. You can always find many people browsing and searching for some way to learn how to hack! They are the easier pray for the Hackers.
What they fail to understand is that THERE IS NO CRASH COURSE FOR HACKING!
It takes Practice , Patience And Expertise. No one can be a hacker Overnight.
Many a times people come to me asking "How To Hack?"
Its in these awkward times i feel at loss of words. What Should i say?
In our field of Network Security we have a Golden Rule...
"Servers Are Genius, Its The People Who Are Fools.
Hacking Either Of Them Completes Your Purpose.... So Why Not Go For The Easier Way Out:Get Those Fools!"
If you really wanna hack go deep inside the subject, get expertise in programming, learn about TCP/IP and other protocols, Learn How Things Work... THATS THE BEGINNING!
